Amsterdam
Possibly, one of the most well known and popular tourist destinations in Europe. With beautiful canals, Iconic narrow houses and a fascinating history. The city does not require much introduction! However, if you are not aware of what it has to offer let us fill you in.

Scenery in Amsterdam

Amsterdam is full of natural beauty, you can simply just meander around the city (either on foot or bike) visit the Dam square, the Red light district, Old center or even the museums districts as everything is in very close proximity. In Amsterdam you are not only going to see stunning sights, but also very interesting history. If you take a trip to The Museumplein square, which is based in Amsterdam’s well-heeled Oud-Zuid district. You will find the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijks museum and the Stedelijk Museum all in one place. If travelling around December time there is also normally an ice rink in the square as well as other activities throughout the year. Amsterdam is also very famously home to the Anne Frank house. Which is where she actually hid, Nazi persecution from 1942 until she was captured along with her family and four other inhabitants in 1944.

Activities in Amsterdam

Amsterdam being a city you may think that any opportunity for doing outdoor activities would be out the window. However, one thing that all the locals as well tourists do is Cycling. Therefore, if you're in Amsterdam I would definitely recommend renting a bike! It will also benefit massively with getting around, allowing you to see the most of the city, whilst also exercising. There are also bike tours available, One we recommend is We Bike Amsterdam. Whether you are amongst the countryside or the city in Amsterdam, it is definitely worth a try either way!

Nightlife in Amsterdam

Nightlife in Amsterdam is nothing less than legendary. There are a lot of nightclubs and bars in every district of the city – not only the Red Light District. The most well-known (and expensive) bars in Amsterdam are of course, in the epic areas of Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein. You will also find many other awesome nightclubs located around every corner of the city. There is also a huge amount of variety within the city and its nightlife. Therefore, if you just fancy chilling with a glass of wine or partying till the sun comes up, there is something for you. One of our personal favourites is the Panama Club, which has a nightclub, concert venue, lobby, and restaurant all in one place. Meaning, you can start your evening with a delicious meal, and then let loose on the colorful dance floor whilst listening to trance, techno, urban, the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s music.
