Cyprus

Perched on the eastern side of Europe, just south of the beautiful country of Turkey, you will find the beautiful and diverse island of Cyprus. The country looks remarkably similar to some of the stunning Greek Islands! Cyprus is  one of the larger mediterranean islands and is made up of 6 relatively sized cities, Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Famagusta, Paphos and Kyrenia. Paphos, is based around the famous Troödos Mountains, and is one of the more popular destinations for witnessing Cypruses natural beauty as well as a slice of history. We would also recommend visiting Protaras, which is another very popular holiday destination in Cyprus. And of course there's also Ayia Napa! Home to the most legendary nightlife in Cyprus!

Paphos

As one of the most established cities in Cyprus, Paphos makes a perfect place to base for a Holiday in Cyprus. With Crystal Clear waters, Fabolous food and historical sites. Bare in mind, this is only a portion of what this area of the island has to offer.

Best time to travel

The best time to visit Cyprus is between May and June. Not only will there be limited amounts of rainfall, but it's also the hottest time to visit the country. With temperatures hovering between 26 and 28 degrees, with up to 13 hours of sunshine a day.

Best time to travel

In terms of getting from the airports to you wherever you need to go, there are Airport Transfer Buses that link all the towns to the island's two airports. Taxis from the Airport and around the towns are also available but are quite pricey. Therefore Buses are also the cheapest option and most efficient for getting around the island. Car rentals are also available.

Currency

In Cyprus they use the Euro. In terms of withdrawing money and using your credit and debit cards, ATMS are very common in Cyprus, even in smaller towns and villages. However, in Restaurants and smaller shops you may have trouble using your card so make sure you have some cash on you just in case.
