With New York possibly being one of the most well known states and cities in the world it doesn't require much introduction. Home to stunning landmarks like the empire state building, Brooklyn Bridge and the iconic statue of liberty. It is an absolute beast of a tourist destination, with so much to do in the bustling city it can be hard to choose. Here's a little guide of what to expect and what to explore.

About New York

When visiting New York there are countless numbers of scenic and touristy things to do. So mentioning them all would take all day , but here little bit about what to expect. New York is a concrete jungle of architectural beauty. With the cities beating heart being the famous and lively times Square. A must visit while in New York, to both explore the city centers shops, restaurants and general vibes. Times Square itself is just as atmospheric as you would expect it to be, with its iconix big screens and zooming yellow taxis. The great thing about New York as well is it's not Just towering skyscrapers. The city also has great options in terms of stunning parks. Most notably being Central park , one of the world’s most renowned green spaces in the world, Central Park comprises 843 acres of rolling meadows, boulder-studded outcroppings, [lined walkways, manicured European-style gardens, a lake and a reservoir One more impressive thing about New York is it's stunning skyline. It is best viewed at the top of the famous Empire state building, An Architectural limestone masterpiece. For this famous Skyline view visit the outdoor deck on the 86th and 102nd floor, trust us you won't want to miss it. 

Activities

There is just so much to do and see when visiting the Big Apple! You could quite literally spend a lifetime in New York, and you will still be able to find something new to try each day! Whether you wanted to take a boat trip over to see the ever famous Statue of Liberty, explore the city from the sky via the abundantly tall skyscrapers, visit Ground Zero, walk to Brooklyn via the Brooklyn bridge or even visit the picturesque destination that is Central Park! When it comes to New York, there really isn’t a limit on what you can do! Even if you just simply wanted to send the day exploring the city by foot, you will be sure to find some spectacular areas of interest along the way. How does visiting Time Square or 5 Avenue sound to you?

Food

American food is just simply iconic. There are so many different traditional dishes that come from america, however, Manhattan alone seems to account for many American culinary traditions! Including burgers, pizza, hot dogs, baked pretzels, new-york style cheesecake and so many more! You are bound to find something for everyone when visiting New York. Although all restaurants in New York are amazing, one of our personal recommendations would be to visit Ellen’s Stardust diner. Located just outside of Times Square. You will not only be able to try some amazing traditional styled american food, but you will also be accompanied by live singing performances from a variety of different broadway singers! This diner is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity! 

Nightlife

Within the city that never sleeps, you will find some of the world's most famous bars, music clubs, and nightclubs. However, the main challenge that travelers face when coming to New York City is that the best nightlife venues lie outside the main hotel district in midtown in areas 1 But that is ok, because some of the nightlife experiences in New York City really are unmissable and the small journey is most definitely worth it!
