When in Cyprus one of the first things you're definitely gonna wanna do is head to the beach. Paphos will not disappoint you in terms of beaches trust us. There are at least twelve Paphos beaches that have been awarded Blue Flag status which means they are clean and safe for bathing. The best Beach is probably Coral Bay, which is positioned about 6 km north of the city. However, because of its status, Expect it to be busy on a warm sunny day. With shallow waters scenery and extadinarialy soft sand the beach is definitely worth it. Don’t worry though, Paphos is not just beaches, there are also loads of both scenic attractions as well as more important Historical. What better place to go in Paphos then, Paphos Archaeological Park. One of the most important sites in Cyprus. Here you will find the Mediterranean’s most impressive and best preserved mosaics, Which were accidentally discovered by a farmer out ploughing his fields in 1962. The remains of five Roman villas are also on the site.
