In terms of some of the most popular sights when visiting St Moritz lake is definitely a beauty.  Not only that, the lake is also where you can find a hotel to stay, as well as restaurants and cafes to dine in. Furthermore, the lake is a great spot for walkers as you can walk around the whole shore, as you enjoy the view. Saint Moritz is also home to various art museums, One of the most popular one being the Giovanni Segantini Museum. Which is also a memorial ground for Segantini himself. One of his most famous pieces, the one he died completing, Alpine Triptych, Life - Nature - Death.

Activities in St Moritz

St Moritz the highest resort in Switzerland, it's also considered to have the best intermediate ski terrain. With a good quantity of exceptionally long runs as well as terrain for all ski levels. The Resort also boasts a massive Snow Park, called the Corviglia, it’s got a whopping 30 obstacles. In terms of the price of a lift pass some of you may be thinking it will be out the roof. Well it's not cheap, but not ridiculous, ranging from around £200-£300 for up to 6 days skiing.

 

Fancy a thrill without having to put your skis on, Try the St Moritz - Celerina Bobsled Run. Where you can actually ride down the world's only natural bobsled run. Reaching speeds of over 135 kilometers it's not for the faint hearted but is definitely a blast. Saint Moritz also offers great opportunities for light hiking, About an hour and a half walk from St Moritz is where you will find stunning Hahnensee. The route itself is made of stunning forest paths making it great for a Hike. Furthermore you can stop at the restaurant terrace and savor the views.

Food in St Moritz comes in a great Variety. With 5 star traditional cuisine to simple Cafes, you definitely won't go hungry in St Moritz. However the food here can for sure be very pricey in some places.If you're looking to try traditional Swiss Cuisine we personally recommend the Suvretta Stube. Where the food is not only delicious, service is also excellent and the views from the sun terrace are spectacular. Just Fancy some comfort food, Alte Pizzeria is your place, While also savings some money, enjoy a filling pizza. Also Enjoy pasta and salads.In terms of eating on the mountains, one of the best places for sure is the Restaurant Trutz, sitting at a modest 2,211 meters. It's a great spot to kick the ski’s off, and Enjoy a warm, scrumptious bowl of barley soup. While enjoying a mesmerising view.

Nightlife in St Moritz

Compared to competitors Zermatt and Verbier, St Moritz's apre scene is definitely muted. However, there are definitely still a few huts to linger in before descending down the Mountain. Where you will find a more Sophisticated and Glamorous approach to most nightlife in the Village. Don't worry though there are still pubs to grab a pint or just grab a simple glass of wine.
