There is so much to do when in venice! Whether you wanted to do a boat trip around the cities canals, go on a sightseeing walking tour, spend the day wine tasting or even go on a pizza making course! A must do activity whilst in the city has to be taking a trip on a gondola! There is just something so magical about sailing through the waters of a lagoon built city.

Food in Venice

The food in Italy is just spectacular! From fresh locally sourced foods and fresh ingredients, italian cuisine is just gorgeous. When in Venice, you will find that there are plenty of beautiful places for you to dine at. Whether you are looking for a traditional Italian meal such as pasta or pizza, or something more along the lines of seafood, you will be sure to have an amazing experience no matter what you choose. One of our personal recommendations would be to visit Osteria Boccadoro. A traditional Italian restaurant that offers fresh local food full of flavour! The restaurant is located in a beautiful courtyard, creating a beautiful atmosphere.

Transportation around Venice

In terms of getting from the UK to Venice, you will be able to fly from most UK airports into the Venice Marco Polo Airport, located on the shores of the lagoon. To get from the mainland to central Venice, the cheapest option will be the bus that runs to and from the airport. Or if you would rather, there is also the option to get a taxi, water taxi or public ferry! When in central Venice, there are gondolas and boats to transport people around the city!

Nightlife in Venice

If you're looking for a party town, then Venice is not going to be the place for you! The city is known for its chilled bars offering a relaxing atmosphere.There are lots of Jazz bars where you will be able to enjoy a peaceful evening overlooking the beautiful canals of the city.
