The best time to visit the Maldives is from November through till April. The island is warm and sunny year-round, however there is a dry season and rainy season. The high season falls between December and March. If entering Maldives as a tourist, you will be granted a 30 day visa upon arrival and your passport must be valid for a minimum of one month. However, if arriving by air, most airlines state that your passport should be valid for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of entry into the Maldives.

 

 

Hopping on and off ferries and speedboats is the best way to get around the island nation of Maldives. Dhoni charters and speedboats are available for hire at Male and all nearby islands. Taxi boats are used to take tourists to and from the islands in the North and South Atolls.

With the Maldives being one of the prettiest destinations in the world, it makes pretty much anything you decide to do just that extra bit more special because you are constantly surrounded by stunning 360 views of the country's picturesque islands. From luxury boat trips exploring the beautiful islands, to other waters sports such as jet skiing, snorkeling, paddle boarding or kayaking, the Maldives is definitely the place for water bound activities! How does spending the day swimming with the majestically enormous whale sharks sound to you? 

 

 

 

 

Traditional Maldivian food combines a mixture of both Arabic, Indian and Sri Lankan food as well as other oriental flavoured ingredients to give that extra bit of flavouring. Your resort will offer pretty much everything, from freshly caught seafood, to spicy curries or even exotic fruit, the food in the maldives will definitely not disappoint. We would highly recommend opting for an all inclusive package when choosing your resort as it will offer you complete flexibility within your hotel! 

 

 

 

 

The nightlife in the Maldives is not the most exhilarating as the islands are known for the tranquility. There are no huge nightclubs; however, there are some cool things to do and nice people to meet when hanging out in the local bars or having a cocktail at a resort! most of the clubs and bars are located inside the resorts on private islands.
